What
Cboost is a young, ambitious engineering firm and a social enterprise. Making a profit is just as important as our other big goal: solving sustainability problems with Robotics and AI. We now have the necessary knowledge and expertise in-house to help companies innovate. Now is the time to really make an impact on scale! How? By growing even faster. First in the Netherlands, then across borders.

 

That is why we are looking for a Business Manager, a commercial leader with an active network. At the outset, your primary task is to create a varied customer portfolio. You do this by bringing in new assignments and by managing existing relationships. Together with our engineers you work on high-tech solutions for our customers. That is why you also help recruit employees. This way you immediately build a team. Two birds, one stone: you will also lead this team in the future once we scale up further. You'll support your Cboosters in developing their knowledge and skills and ensure that they work on challenging projects. You also contribute to team building activities: BBQs, drinks, game nights, sports activities and - as soon as possible - fun team trips. Ultimately, you will lead and expand your own business cell. In short, a very varied and important role with a lot of freedom.

Where

Of course you are not alone. Cboost consists of a highly motivated and close-knit team with different backgrounds, strong growth targets and the desire to create real, sustainable impact. What connects us is the will to realize a healthy and sustainable world by making smart use of AI and Robotics. How? Think of robots that do heavy lifting or dangerous work. Or enabling new processes, such as robotized biodiverse agriculture, fuel-saving logistics and automated customized production with IOT. Another example: AI algorithms that allow us to make healthcare more personal and healthier. These are all processes and sectors that we are involved in, and in which we really want to accelerate positive change.

 

Yup, those are quite complex matters. That is why we invest a lot in the development of our Cboosters. For example: In addition to education and training, everyone at Cboost receives a certified personal coach who brings out the best in them. This way we become a star player in the field of innovation, AI and Robotics.

Who

As a colleague within our core team (and commercial mastermind) you will play an important role in the future of Cboost. You are the one who puts us on the map with realism, business acumen and inspiration. Sales - from acquisition to retention - no longer holds any secrets for you; you have 5 years of work experience in a commercial position, ideally within a technical environment. You like working in a young organization in which a lot is already in place, but in which there is still a lot to do. You are therefore both strategic and hands-on. You can work independently with an entrepreneurial attitude, achieving results in a people-focused manner, with a passion for innovation and sustainability. Sales, account management and management of your Cboosters are your primary tasks. We expect from you, among other things:

 

• Not perfection, but reflection, resilience and results

• Your own business network that you want to use for Cboost

• Experience as a (technical) account manager within business services

• An attitude as an enterprising, positive & proactive builder

• Experience or great affinity with high-tech (preferably robotics and / or AI)

• Affinity with solving sustainability issues is a plus

• Enjoy working and helping in an informal start-up environment
